Women continue to face systemic barriers in medicine and science—despite decades of progress. What is happening?
In this live conversation, Jennifer Rubin Grandis draws on decades of experience as a physician-scientist, mentor, and leader to examine how gender bias remains embedded in academic medicine and scientific research. Through real-world case studies and personal insight, she explores how funding systems, promotion practices, and institutional culture continue to disadvantage women at every stage of their careers.
While focused on medicine and research, the conversation speaks to broader workplace inequities across industries—and offers a path forward for meaningful change.
Dr. Grandis will be joined in conversation with Katie Hafner, journalist and co-creator of Lost Women of Science.
